Dubai loves a big project, and the coastline clearly isn’t done growing yet. Nakheel has awarded contracts for a new project called Island B. The island will be built along the Deira coastline and is part of the Dubai Islands development.
So what’s planned for Island B? The project includes villas and townhouses, along with shops, leisure spots, and marinas. Plans include around 49,000 homes that will house more than 230,000 people.
Three bridges will connect Island B and a neighbouring Island A to the mainland, linking the entire area to Deira. So far, no other details or opening date have been revealed.
