5-Month Traffic Diversion Announced on Al Qudra Road in Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a five-month traffic diversion affecting a key intersection on Al Qudra Road, starting Saturday, June 22, 2025. The diversion is part of ongoing works to upgrade intersections and construct a new bridge at the Arabian Ranches junction.

The temporary diversion will impact the area where Al Qudra Road intersects with the road connecting Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City.

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

The existing traffic signal at the intersection will be removed
Traffic will be rerouted outside the junction area to ensure continuous flow in both directions between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street
Two signal-free U-turns will be introduced to support smoother movement and ease congestion

The diversion is a key part of Dubai’s infrastructure development strategy, aimed at improving traffic capacity and overall commute experience in fast-growing areas like Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City.
