Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) is launching its 2025 Summer Camps across five museums, offering children hands-on learning through history, science, marine life, and arts. Camps run from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, with limited slots, so early registration is encouraged.

Sharjah Archaeology Museum

  • Dates: July 14–17 and July 21–24
  • Age Group: 7 to 9 years

Programme: My Ancestors’ Professions, Shaping My Future

Children will explore ancient professions like farming, pottery, and trade through hands-on workshops. The programme helps young participants link historical practices to the present.

Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization

  • Dates: July 14–24
  • Age Group: 10 to 12 years

Programme: Creating with Our Own Hands

Participants will engage in artistic crafts such as mosaics, weaving, woodwork, and sword decoration, learning about Islamic heritage and working in teams to develop creativity and craftsmanship.

  • Week 1: July 28–31 (Age 7–9)
  • Week 2: August 4–7 (Age 10–12)

Programme: Interactive workshops on colour theory, sound, cooking, space, AI, chemistry, and even perfume-making. The camp is designed to build curiosity and critical thinking through hands-on experiments.

Programme: Maritime Adventures

Children will learn about traditional seafaring, fishing tools, and local marine history. Activities include a fishing session, cooking Emirati dishes, and making scented herbal candles.
