Bahrain is set to launch its first-ever Ramadan Heritage Village Evenings Festival, celebrating the country’s rich traditions throughout the holy month. Organized by the Ministry of Information, this new event aims to revive Bahrain’s authentic heritage with engaging activities, cultural performances, and traditional markets.

The festival kicks off on the first day of Ramadan and will run until the 18th day of the month. It will take place in Ras Hayan, offering visitors a chance to experience Bahrain’s cultural roots in a lively and festive setting.

Expect a variety of cultural, entertainment, and commercial events that highlight Bahrain’s traditions. Families, residents, and tourists can enjoy live performances of Ramadan customs such as Al Musaher, Gergaoun, Al Widaa, and Daq Al Habb.

For those who love dressing up, the festival will feature a Gergaoun contest rewarding the best traditional attire. It’s the perfect time to bring out your finest jalabiyas, gold jewelry, and thobes.

A traditional market will also be set up, offering a wide range of Bahraini goods, handmade crafts, and delicious local food. Visitors can explore stalls from local shops, cafes, and street vendors, making it a great place to soak in the Ramadan atmosphere.

The festival will be open daily from 8:30 PM to 1 AM, starting from the first day of Ramadan. Whether you’re looking for cultural experiences, festive entertainment, or a taste of Bahrain’s rich traditions, this event promises a memorable Ramadan celebration.
