After huge success in May, Harry Potter-inspired brunch is returning to Abu Dhabi for a single afternoon on September 28. Urban Kitchen at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi will be again transformed into a magical dining space, complete with themed decorations and a menu that takes inspiration from the Wizarding World.
What to Expect at Harry Potter-inspired Brunch in Abu Dhabi
The venue will be dressed up to look like parts of Hogwarts, featuring hanging lights, house banners, and food that pays tribute to the four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff.
Guests are invited to wear wizard-themed costumes.
The wizarding brunch includes a wide variety of dishes, from dragon-braised short ribs with a spicy BBQ sauce to a comforting shepherd’s pie. Diners can enjoy fresh seafood, roasted meats, live cooking stations, and detailed desserts like chocolate cake named after the devil’s snare and a crème brûlée inspired by Nicolas Flamel.
Drinks will also match the magical theme. There will be a take on the famous butterbeer, as well as creative mixed drinks like the sparkling Felix Felicis potion, a spicy cocktail, and a “love potion No. 9¾.” Non-alcoholic drinks include golden snitch mocktails and color-changing teas made with butterfly pea flowers and lavender lemonade.
