Visitors arriving in Dubai are getting a warm welcome — and a little something extra — as part of a new initiative offering free Global Village tickets to tourists. Whether flying into Dubai International Airport or crossing into the city from Hatta, tourists have been receiving complimentary access to the city’s popular multicultural theme park, thanks to a collaboration between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and Global Village.

The gesture comes as part of the Year of Community campaign in the UAE, which focuses on strengthening family ties, celebrating cultural diversity, and encouraging inclusive, shared experiences.

The free ticket campaign coincides with the final days of Season 29 of Global Village, which closes on Sunday, May 11, 2025. It’s a timely move to encourage more last-minute visits to the park before it takes a summer break.

And it’s not just tourists who benefit. Children under 12 can also now enter free of charge until the end of the season, expanding on the existing free entry for kids under three, senior citizens, and people of determination. With standard entry normally priced at AED 25, it’s a decent saving — especially for families looking for a fun day out on a budget.
