Dubai’s fine dining scene has a new arrival. Vera Versilia, a seafood-focused Italian restaurant inspired by the Tuscan coast, has officially opened on the second floor of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
The restaurant draws heavily from Versilia, the famed seaside region of Tuscany that blends natural beauty, artistic heritage, and refined living. The space channels this spirit through light, sculptural interiors in sand-toned hues, polished Carrara marble accents, and original artworks from Pietrasanta.

At the helm is Executive Chef Marco Garfagnini, a Versilia native. His menu reflects a personal connection to the region, offering elevated takes on traditional coastal dishes. Seafood and pasta dominate the offering, from Trenette Di Pesce – a seafood-rich pasta in a delicate sauce – to Dentice Rosso, a seared red snapper served with beurre blanc and Royal caviar.
Guests can also opt for the Crudo selection, which includes Calvisius Caviar with blinis, or an opulent seafood tower of Sicilian red prawns, langoustines, and Gillardeau oysters. Meat lovers will find comfort in Tortellini Versilia filled with beef ragù and served with Parmigiano cream, while the Spaghetti Alle Arselle brings a garlic-kissed take on clams and pasta.

The beverage programme matches the culinary ambition. A Vermouth trolley showcases rare varieties from Tuscany, while the cocktail list pays homage to regional towns. The Viareggio cocktail offers sweet tropical notes in tribute to the famous Carnival, while the Barga is a more herbaceous, contemplative sip inspired by the quiet hilltop town.
Vera Versilia aims to offer a full sensory experience – a slice of the Versilian Riviera, transported to Dubai, through seafood, style, and storytelling.
