Aman Resorts, Swiss hospitality company known for its ultra-luxury properties worldwide, is bringing a new residential development to Wadi Safar in Saudi Arabia. The project, named Amansamar Residences, will be built near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyah, a location deeply connected to the Kingdom’s history and cultural heritage.
The name Amansamar blends two meanings: “aman,” which is Sanskrit for peace, and “samar,” the Arabic word for sharing stories and knowledge among friends. Together, they reflect the project’s vision of creating a peaceful community rooted in connection. The name also translates to “the peaceful acacia tree,” a symbol of strength and resilience in the desert.

Amansamar Residences will include 80 ultra-luxury homes, featuring a mix of villas and private estates. Each home will have five to six bedrooms, placed on plots starting from 9,000 square metres. These residences are being positioned to blend into the desert cliffs and natural terrain while maximising sunlight and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
The facilities planned on-site include an Aman Spa, complete with a signature hammam, banya houses, and hydrotherapy areas. Residents will also have access to multiple dining venues, a Racquet Club, swimming pools, and a Kids’ Club. The development is close to Wadi Safar’s Royal Signature Golf Course and polo and equestrian centres, offering more recreational options in the area.

With Amansamar Residences bringing a new level of luxury to Wadi Safar, the area is quickly becoming one of Saudi Arabia’s most sought-after destinations for high-end living. If you’re keeping an eye on what’s next in Diriyah, don’t miss the upcoming Chedi Wadi Safar Hotel, set to open nearby.
And for those drawn to signature design, it’s worth taking a closer look at Armani Residences, a project personally designed by Giorgio Armani — another standout addition to Diriyah’s growing portfolio of luxury developments.
