Two big names in fashion and culture are coming to Dubai. This November, Anna Wintour and Candace Bushnell will headline the Women’s Empowerment Convention, a two-day event held at Atlantis The Royal.

The event will bring together over 100 speakers across industries for two days of talks, workshops, and networking, all centred around this year’s theme: “All In: Career, Money and Life.” The programme will focus on how financial independence influences women’s lives and explore the diverse paths to achieving it.

 

Speakers of Women’s Empowerment Convention 2025

Anna Wintour, Global Editorial Director of Vogue and Chief Content Officer of Condé Nast, will be returning to Dubai for her second visit this year. Known for leading American Vogue for nearly four decades, she also serves as a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and chairs the Met Gala.

Candace Bushnell, the writer and creator of Sex and the City, is also on the speaker lineup. Her original newspaper columns inspired the bestselling book and Emmy-winning HBO series. Bushnell is also known for her work as a journalist and television producer.

  • Svetlana Kuznetsova, Grand Slam tennis champion and fashion designer
  • HE Hala Badri, Director General of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority
