Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced several traffic changes as part of the ongoing Dubai Metro Blue Line project. These updates aim to ensure smooth travel for commuters while construction progresses.
Drivers heading to Centrepoint Metro Station should take note of the following:
- The entrance to the multi-storey car park from Airport Road is now closed. Parking is accessible via Exit 1.
- Taxi stands at the front of the station have been moved behind the car park on 49C Street.
- A service road near Al Khor Station, close to Creek Dubai Metro Station, has been closed. A temporary alternative road has been opened nearby.
Commuters are encouraged to follow all traffic signs, plan their trips in advance, and use alternate routes where possible to avoid delays.
These changes are part of broader traffic adjustments linked to the Blue Line construction, including ongoing diversions in Mirdif and Academic City. The RTA continues to coordinate these updates to minimize disruption and improve access across the city.
