Dubai is officially one of the wealthiest cities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With around USD 1.1 trillion in total liquid investable wealth, it ranks fourth in terms of millionaire numbers. Experts say Dubai could climb even higher by 2040 and possibly become the wealthiest city in the region.

- London (UK) with 212,000 millionaires
- Paris (France) with 163,000 millionaires
- Milan (Italy) with 121,000 millionaires
It’s not just wealth that’s growing. the city’s population has more than doubled in the past decade, reaching 4 million residents as of August 2025, compared with 1.93 million back in 2011.
On top of its wealth, Dubai is earning recognition for its beauty too — it was ranked the third most scenic city in the world to explore at night in 2025.
