On October 3, the airline performed its first-ever flights to Medan (Sumatra, Indonesia), and Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s lively capital.
Both of these routes are being served by new A321LR aircraft, promising a modern and comfortable travel experience. Whether you’re heading to the lush landscapes of Indonesia or the historic sites of Cambodia, these new flights give you even more ways to explore Southeast Asia.

Speaking of Zayed International Airport (AUH), home for Etihad Airways, it recently earned Level 3 ACI accreditation for Customer Experience, highlighting the airport’s commitment to providing top-notch service for all travelers.
Full Schedule of Etihad Flights to New Destinations in Southeast Asia
Medan, Indonesia (flights starting October 3):
- Departing from Abu Dhabi (AUH) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays at 8:45 PM. Arrives in Medan at 6:45 AM local time (next day).
- Returning from Medan on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays at 8:55 AM. Arrives in Abu Dhabi at 12:50 PM local time.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia (flights starting October 3):
- Departing from Abu Dhabi (AUH) daily at 9:10 PM. Arrives in Phnom Penh: 7:20 AM local time (next day).
- Returning from Phnom Penh daily at 8:40 AM local time. Arrives in Abu Dhabi at 1 PM local time.
