If you’re looking for a great spot to celebrate UAE Flag Day 2025, Global Village is where you’ll want to be. Dubai’s favourite multicultural destination will celebrate the occasion with a stunning Flag Day Drone Show that blends art, light, and national pride in the open desert sky.
On Monday, November 3, at 8:30 PM, hundreds of drones will rise above the park, painting the night with intricate formations and vivid colours. Watch as they create dazzling visual effects, forming the UAE flag and a series of breathtaking patterns that pay tribute to the nation’s spirit and unity.
UAE Flag Day is celebrated every year on November 3. The tradition was started in 2013 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to honour the UAE’s unity, progress, and future. At 11 AM, government offices, schools, and private institutions across the country will raise the national flag together, followed by the national anthem.
As part of the celebrations, you can also visit Flag Garden at Umm Suqeim Beach, which has recently opened for another season. This is a favourite photo spot for both residents and tourists and it’s completely free to enter.

While UAE Flag Day isn’t a public holiday, it sets the tone for a full month of celebration leading up to Eid Al Etihad in December. Expect more community events and cultural experiences all across the emirate.
So, if you’re planning to be part of the celebrations, make sure to catch the Flag Day Drone Show at Global Village on November 3. It’s the perfect way to mark the start of the season of national pride. Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming events and festivities happening across the UAE this month.
