UAE Confirmed Holiday Dates for National Day 2025: Four Days Off for Public and Private Sectors

The UAE has announced the official public sector holiday dates for National Day 2025. Public sector workers will have Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2, off. Combined with the regular weekend, this creates a four-day long weekend to celebrate the occasion.

While this holiday is confirmed for government employees, those working in the private sector will also enjoy two paid holidays on the same dates (December 1 and 2).

The UAE National Day celebrations will officially take place on December 2, with grand festivities involving the rulers of the seven emirates. As always, the fireworks are the highlight of the day, and you can already check out top locations of Eid Al Etihad fireworks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
