How cool is it that you can now snowboard or ski in Kuwait? Sounds almost unreal, right? But believe it or not, you can do exactly that in Khaitan at KARV Ski Academy. It’s the kind of thing you never expected to see in the city, but now that it’s here, it’s definitely worth checking out!
KARV Ski Academy has been open for a couple of months now, and they’re now in their soft launch phase. The place features high-tech treadmill ski slope machines that simulate the feeling of real skiing and snowboarding.
The academy welcomes anyone aged 6 and older, with both group and one-on-one lesson options.
Snowboarding is currently unavailable, but skiing is in full swing. Here are the prices:
- 1-hour public lesson: KWD 22
- 1-hour private lesson: KWD 35
- 5-hour public package: KWD 100
- 5-hour private package: KWD 150
They provide all the gear you need, but if you’ve got your own equipment, feel free to bring it.
KARV Ski Academy is open daily from 1 PM to 9 PM, except Fridays, and you can book lessons through their website.
