Robotaxis are no longer science fiction, and they’re expanding across Abu Dhabi! The service is now available in three more areas, making it easier to get around without needing to drive.
Now, you can catch a robotaxi in:
- Khalifa City
- Masdar City
- Rabdan
There’s also a brand-new route that’ll take you from Abu Dhabi Corniche to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
This service is powered by WeRide, Uber, and Tawasul Transport, all under the approval of the authorities. It’s part of the city’s bigger plan to bring smarter, more efficient transport to everyday life.
If you’re loving the idea of robotaxis zooming around town, you’re in for a treat: Baidu’s self-driving taxis has recently launched on Yas Island.
