Kuwait is preparing to celebrate its National Day and Liberation Day, two occasions that hold deep meaning and pride for the country. To mark the celebrations, a four-day public holiday has been announced for government offices, ministries and public institutions.

The Cabinet has confirmed that Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26, will be official holidays. Combined with the regular Friday and Saturday weekend, this creates a long break for many public sector employees. Essential services will continue operating under special arrangements.

Work will resume on Sunday, March 1.

Whether you’re joining the festivities or enjoying some well-earned rest, the National Day break is a wonderful moment. If you’re looking for an outdoor adventure, a visit to recently opened Kuwait Towers Garden or even a day trip to Kuwait Geopark makes for a refreshing way to spend part of the holiday surrounded by nature.

Wishing everyone in Kuwait a joyful and memorable National Day and Liberation Day.
