Dubai’s public transport network is getting a major boost with the upgrade of 22 bus stations across the city, including 16 passenger stations and 6 major depots. The enhancements come as part of the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) effort to improve the quality and efficiency of bus services in the emirate. Improvements were carried out at nine bus stations in Deira and seven in Bur Dubai. These stations support around 110 bus routes and handle a peak-hour capacity of approximately 710 buses. The 2025 Dhofar Khareef season in Salalah has officially begun with the launch of Ateen Square, a new cultural and entertainment hub serving as the centrepiece of this year’s festivities. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has announced a new road that will stretch over the mountain peaks and lead to the coastal city of Khorfakkan. Parkin, Dubai’s official parking operator, has just introduced new public parking subscription plans aimed at specific groups in the city. Students can now get a parking subscription starting from AED 100 per month.
