Ajman is set to transform its coastline with a massive beach expansion, adding more public spaces, a scenic cycling track, and lush green areas. The emirate’s latest urban development project will increase the beachfront area to 220,000 square meters, an expansion of 165,000 square meters aimed at enhancing both tourism and residents’ quality of life.

A major highlight of the project is a 2.5km cycling track. A pedestrian walkway will run alongside it, offering a safe and scenic space for walkers and joggers. Additionally, 300,000 square meters of green spaces will be created, adding shade, beauty, and eco-friendly recreational areas along the corniche.

Officials overseeing the project, including Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Mohamed bin Omair Al Muhairi, have confirmed that two phases are already complete. The final phase is set to finish by March 2025, with further landscaping and final finishes continuing until August 2025.

This initiative is part of Ajman 2030, a long-term urban development strategy, focused on sustainability and improving public access to outdoor spaces. By expanding the coastline and integrating eco-friendly infrastructure, the emirate aims to attract more visitors, support local businesses, and promote a healthier, more active lifestyle.
