Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out major updates to the public bus network. The changes include rerouting of some lines, new stops in expanding communities, and revised end points for better accessibility.
The update supports RTA’s long-term plans to make public transport the preferred option across the city and reduce road congestion. Below, you can find all the changes to Dubai bus routes:

- Route 44: Now runs through Dubai Festival City instead of Rebat Street
- Route F12: Rerouted between Satwa Roundabout and Wasal Park via Kuwait Street

Beyond the route changes, the RTA continues to pilot and plan future mobility projects like the electric bus (now on F13), bus pooling service, Bus on Demand in 11 areas of the city, and flying taxis. Plus 43 public transport stations across Dubai now offer free Wi-Fi — another small convenience that makes a big difference for daily riders.
For regular commuters and curious residents, now’s a good time to explore the city’s expanding public transport options.
