Bryan Adams, the Canadian rock icon behind hits like Summer of ’69 and (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, is bringing his photography exhibition to the Middle East. #ShotbyAdams takes over JD Malat Gallery in Downtown Dubai and runs until 30 September 2025.
This exhibition shows that Adams is just as skilled behind a camera as he is on stage, presenting portraits that play with colour, perception, and fame. Inspired by the phrase “seeing things through rose-tinted glasses,” Adams places colourful plexiglass between lens and subject.

The results are playful yet thought-provoking, twisting outlines and shifting perspectives while highlighting identity and celebrity. Look out for reimagined portraits of Kate Moss and Mick Jagger, where colours shift depending on your angle.
Adams’ photography career is equally impressive: he has captured Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, alongside images of Muhammad Ali, Hillary Clinton, Naomi Campbell, and Jennifer Aniston. #ShotbyAdams brings this experience together into a focused, creative series that emphasises both craft and concept.

For fans of art or Bryan Adams, this is a unique opportunity. If you’re a creative soul yourself, JD Malat Gallery is currently welcoming submissions from emerging UAE-based artists in five categories.
