Dubai just served up a coffee milestone. Roasters, a homegrown Emirati café, has officially set a Guinness World Record for the most expensive cup of coffee, priced at AED 2,500. The record-breaking brew was unveiled on September 13 at their flagship location on Boulevard Downtown Dubai.

Roasters made this coffee from rare Panamanian Geisha beans sourced from the Esmeralda farm. The beans are celebrated for their delicate floral aroma and tropical fruit notes. This luxurious cup comes with a tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a special chocolate creation — all infused with the same Geisha beans for a fully immersive experience.

Guests watch the hand-poured V60 brew being prepared tableside by a skilled barista, using a temperature-controlled kettle and served in a handcrafted Edo Kiriko crystal glass from Japan. Flavor note cards guide visitors through the tasting, highlighting the craftsmanship behind every sip.

While AED 2,500 is an indulgence for most, Dubai still offers countless affordable coffee spots. From relaxed cafés to modern specialty bars, there’s a perfect cup waiting for everyone. Dive into our list of the best new cafés in Dubai to plan your next coffee outing.
