During the Eid Al Adha holiday, four of Dubai’s public beaches will be open exclusively to families. The announcement was made by Dubai Municipality, which aims to better manage visitor numbers during one of the busiest times of the year.
The designated beaches reserved for families during the upcoming long-weekend include:
- Jumeirah 2
- Jumeirah 3
- Umm Suqeim
- Umm Suqeim 2

This initiative is designed to offer families a more secure and relaxed recreational space, especially during peak holiday crowds. By dedicating certain beaches to family use only, the city hopes to enhance the overall visitor experience.
To ensure safety, the municipality has assigned 126 qualified safety and rescue personnel. These teams are equipped with advanced tools and supported by 100 trained inspectors responsible for monitoring beach activity, crowd flow, and traffic movement, as well as responding to incidents on site.

In addition to the beach update, Dubai’s major parks, green spaces, and leisure destinations will also operate on extended schedules during Eid Al Adha 2025, offering more opportunities for families to enjoy the outdoors.
