Gulfood is back in Dubai from February 17 to 20, 2025, bringing together food lovers and industry experts from around the world. If you’re planning to visit, make sure to sort out your transportation in advance — traffic will be heavy, and parking is limited. Here’s a helpful guide to help you reach the venue smoothly.
Taxis & Ride-Hailing Services
The simplest way to reach the event is by taxi. You can flag down an RTA taxi or book one through the Careem app. Keep in mind that traffic builds up fast, especially along Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai Mall, Business Bay, and Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Expect a higher fare than usual due to congestion.

Want to save on taxi fares? Use the Careem app and apply promo code GULFOOD25 for a 20% discount (up to AED 20) on two rides per day (not valid on Hala taxis).
Dubai Metro: The Budget-Friendly Option to Get to Gulfood 2025
If you don’t mind crowds, the Dubai Metro is your best bet. The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Metro Station on the Red Line is the closest stop to the venue. Be prepared for a packed train, as Gulfood visitors and regular commuters will be sharing the ride. Recharge your nol card in advance and follow metro rules to avoid fines.

Free Shuttle Bus Service to Gulfood 2025
Dubai’s RTA is offering a free shuttle bus to and from Gulfood. The buses run from Dubai Mall and Al Wasl Club between 8 AM and 8 PM. They drop you off at the Gulfood Transportation Hub, where you can either walk to the venue or take another shuttle to the Exhibition Plaza. The same service is available for your return trip.
Driving to Gulfood 2025 & Parking Fees
If you prefer to drive, be aware that parking at DWTC now costs AED 25 per hour during major events. There are a few paid parking spots near the venue:
- Al Mustaqbal St. Parking
- Exhibition St. Parking
- Sheikh Rashid Tower Parking

Another option is to park at One Za’abeel, which is a short walk from the venue. If you’d rather not drive all the way, park your car at one of these locations and take public transport to DWTC:
- Dubai Mall Za’abeel Parking
- Al Wasl Club
- Jebel Ali Metro Station
- Centrepoint Metro Station
- Max Metro Station, Al Kifaf
No matter what option you choose, it’s better to leave early to avoid delays. Traffic near DWTC can be unpredictable. With a little planning, you can enjoy everything Gulfood has to offer without transport stress. See you there!
