Jae’s Bunsik is now open in Al Jada, Sharjah, offering a taste of South Korea with a menu that blends popular street food and creative coffee drinks. Currently in its soft opening phase, the café operates from Tuesday to Sunday, between 3 PM and 11 PM.

The term “bunsik” in Korean typically refers to flour-based meals and fast, casual food that’s simple and satisfying. Jae’s Bunsik carries this spirit into its Sharjah outlet, serving a compact menu of comfort dishes and drinks.

The café’s interior is designed with clean lines and neutral tones. The space mixes grey and white textures with wooden features, accented by mustard-coloured lighting and purple chairs. Large windows keep the space well-lit during the day. For guests who enjoy music, the café features vinyl records and personal listening stations with record players and headphones.

Jae’s Bunsik serves a range of drinks, including blends with Ethiopian coffee, black sesame, hojicha, and matcha. The food menu includes South Korean favourites like Kimchi Fried Chicken, Korean Fried Chicken, OG Ramyun, Truffle Chappagetti, and Ttukbeokki.

With a minimal aesthetic and a compact, curated menu, Jae’s Bunsik introduces a new South Korean-inspired café experience to Sharjah.
