Massimo’s, the Italian restaurant known for its comforting classics, has officially opened its doors on Saadiyat Island. Already popular in Dubai and Sharjah, the restaurant has now expanded to Abu Dhabi, bringing its full menu of pastas, pizzas, and gelato to the capital.
Located at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Massimo’s positions itself with the tagline “Italy in every bite and sip” and “crafted with care, served with heart.” The menu reflects a broad and familiar take on Italian cuisine, offering a little something for every kind of diner.

For starters, options include Arancini, Bruschetta, Parmigiana, and grilled octopus (Polpo Alla Griglia). Salads range from a prawn-topped Caesar (Insalata Cesar Con Gamberi) to feta-based and octopus versions. Soups feature lentil, vegetable minestrone, and pumpkin varieties.
Pasta lovers can choose from crowd-pleasers like Lasagne All Bolognese, Tagliatelle Bolognese, Linguine Frutti Di Mare, and two types of ravioli — one filled with ricotta and spinach, the other with pumpkin in a butter sage sauce.

Pizza selections include Pizza Margherita, Diavola Pepperoni, and Napoli. For those open to less traditional toppings, there’s Pizza Hawaii (pineapple included) and even a dessert version: Pizza Nutella.
For dessert, options include panna cotta with berries, the southern Italian Pastiera Napoletana, and classic tiramisu.
