Football fans, rejoice! One of the Middle East’s biggest Football championships is taking place in Abu Dhabi.
The Egyptian Super Cup, 2023, will be hosted in Abu Dhabi at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium. Fans can watch the two finalists – Zamalek, the league champions, and Al Ahly, the cup champions, battle it out for the winning cup.
The match is being hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with the Egyptian Football Association and is sponsored by the Egyptian National Bank.
As stated by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “The upcoming match represents a continuation of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s plans to attract regional, continental, and international sporting events, which reinforces the council’s ambitious plans for Abu Dhabi to be the ideal place to hold top-flight matches that are very popular and have a long history.”
