If you’re the kind of person who gets excited about new food concepts and still talks about great pop-ups months later, this one’s for you. Neo Temaki, the hand roll sushi spot that caused a buzz during its pop-up days, is officially putting down roots. The brand is opening a permanent location in Dubai, and it’s set to land inside JW Marriott Marquis in early 2026.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because Neo Temaki caught people’s attention at Sole DXB thanks to its fast-rolled hand roll sushi, bold Japanese flavours, and atmosphere.

At the pop-up, the menu featured crowd-pleasers like Salmon Teriyaki, Tuna Koshu, and Yasai temaki, along with poke bowls. While the permanent location in Dubai hasn’t revealed its full menu yet, the promise is a broader selection that builds on what fans already loved.

As for timing, the opening is planned for early 2026, although the exact date is still being kept quiet. That just gives you more time to add it to your must-try list.

Japanese culture is clearly having a moment in the city, from standout dining spots like TakaHisa in Downtown with its impressive views, to lifestyle projects such as the car-free Sakura Gardens, and even pop culture events like Animenia 2026 in the capital, which is absolutely worth the trip from Dubai.
