A planetary alignment is happening in the sky next week, and it’s one of the best chances for sky-watchers to see planets lining up! If you’re into stargazing and happen to be in Dubai next week, this show is a must-see.

Planetary alignment happens when several planets appear to line up in the sky, as seen from Earth. It’s not something that happens every day, which is why it grabs attention when it does. Earlier this year, in January, we saw an amazing planetary alignment with six planets — Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn. This was especially rare, as the next alignment of this scale won’t happen until 2040!

Now, there’s another alignment coming up, and it’s happening from February 25 to 28. This time, three bright planets — Saturn, Mercury, and Venus — will be visible just after sunset. If you’re familiar with January’s event, this is kind of like a continuation, as Mercury joins the lineup.

However, a heads up: you won’t be able to see much detail with just your eyes or a phone camera. The planets will look like bright stars in the sky. To get a closer look, a telescope is needed. For the best view, head to Al Qudra Desert. It’s one of the top spots in Dubai for stargazing, offering clear skies and minimal light pollution.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness a rare celestial display in Dubai!
