Dubai’s dining scene is about to welcome a new Japanese restaurant. Ram & Roll is preparing to open its doors at Kempinski The Boulevard, offering a focused menu of handrolls, ramen, sushi, and a few unique additions. The concept brings together traditional Japanese flavours and made-to-order dishes, including a Japanese-inspired breakfast.

The name “Ram & Roll” is a reference to the restaurant’s emphasis on handrolls, which are crafted fresh with premium ingredients. Signature options include the Crispy Tempura Roll with shrimp, the Salmon and Avocado Roll finished with soy glaze, and the Spicy Tuna Roll with avocado and mayonnaise.

The menu also caters to gluten-free and vegetarian diners.

On the ramen side, each bowl is made to order with a slow-simmered broth. Highlights include the Miso Ramen with spicy chilli paste and toasted sesame, Shoyu Ramen in a light soy broth with vegetables, and Tonkotsu Ramen served with a marinated soft-boiled egg.

The space itself is designed with details that reflect both Japanese aesthetics and modern elements. Inside, guests will find an indoor bonsai tree, hanging lanterns, a waving kitty mural, and a mix of brown and pink tones accented with greenery.

Just nearby, another concept has recently joined the area’s growing culinary scene: Vera Versilia, a new seafood restaurant located on the second floor of Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
