Residents and visitors of Ras Al Khaimah now have an innovative tool to streamline their public transportation experience. The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has introduced the Sayr app, an all-in-one platform that enables users to seamlessly plan, book, and pay for their journeys across multiple transit modes, from buses and taxis to ride-sharing and marine transport. This makes moving around the emirate easier, faster, and more convenient than ever before.

Through Sayr, users simply enter their starting point and destination, and the app provides optimized transit options with real-time schedules and route tracking. Integrated with secure online payment, Sayr is designed to offer a smoother commuting experience, transforming how people navigate Ras Al Khaimah.

Sayr’s Director General, Eng. Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi, describes the app as a “smart gateway” to diverse transportation needs, allowing users to manage their entire journey with just a few taps. Built on the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) model, Sayr brings together multiple transportation options — including electric scooters and planned vehicle rentals — into a single digital interface. Currently, Sayr covers all city and intercity bus routes, with additional transit features to be added in the future.

With a user-friendly interface, Sayr empowers users to explore, plan, and pay for their trips with ease, emphasizing RAKTA’s vision to create a well-connected and accessible transport network within Ras Al Khaimah. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, Sayr opens up a range of transport options to make travel simpler and more affordable across the emirate.

The Sayr app is available for download on App Store and Google Play. Transform your Ras Al Khaimah commute into a seamless journey!
