A Studio Ghibli pop-up has opened at Inner Child, a villa bakery in Al Khawaneej, Dubai. Running throughout the summer, the experience brings together Japanese animation and freshly baked treats. The event is dedicated to the iconic work of directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, whose films have reached audiences worldwide.

Inner Child offers a quiet escape from Dubai’s busy pace. For this pop-up, the bakery has transformed its space with Studio Ghibli-themed coffee and cakes. Visitors will find drinks and desserts styled with wide eyes and whimsical details that nod to popular characters from the studio’s films.

 

The updated summer menu includes treats like Totoro French Toast, Sky Matcha, and Calcifer Spicy Honey Pepperoni Croissant, Totoro Iced Chocolate, and many other options. Visitors can try cookies with several flavours including Kinder, Nutella, and Peanut Butter. The drinks menu features staples like Americano, Espresso, Latte, Hot Chocolate, and Hot Matcha.

The Studio Ghibli pop-up at Inner Child is open every day from 4 PM to 10 PM throughout the summer.
