Hilton is set to introduce its first Tapestry Collection property in Saudi Arabia with the launch of Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, opening in November 2025. The new hotel will be located in Madinah’s central Haram area, offering a boutique-style experience that aligns with the Tapestry brand’s focus on cultural connection and local identity.

The project is being developed in partnership with Al Musbah Group and reflects Hilton’s plans to expand its presence across the Kingdom. The company continues to move toward its target of operating 100 hotels in Saudi Arabia.

Diyar Ajwa will include 221 guest rooms and suites, many of which will overlook Al Masjid Al Nabawi, one of the most significant religious landmarks in the region. The hotel will also feature an all-day dining restaurant, a café, and a fitness centre.

The overall design takes inspiration from the Ajwa date, a fruit native to Madinah and known for its cultural and religious importance.

Looking ahead, Saudi Arabia’s hotel landscape is set to welcome even more well-known brands. The Sheraton Al Khobar Al Hamra is scheduled to open its doors in 2028, and a Waldorf Astoria is on the way to Abha, bringing a 180-key luxury property to the city.

With Diyar Ajwa joining Hilton’s expanding portfolio and more global names entering the market, Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector continues to grow in both variety and scale — right in time for major events on the horizon, including Expo Riyadh 2030 and the FIFA World Cup 2034.
