Abu Dhabi drivers, there’s some roadwork coming your way this weekend! The Integrated Transport Centre (AD Mobility) has announced temporary closures that will affect a few major routes. Starting Saturday, October 4, 2025, the ramp on Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Road (E10) near Al Raha will be closed for maintenance.
On top of that, there will be a partial closure on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22) from October 4 to October 6, 2025. Check the map of the affected area with the closed road marked in red.

These closures are all part of the ongoing infrastructure improvements happening in the city. AD Mobility has urged drivers to find alternative routes and pay attention to the signs that will be placed along the affected roads to guide traffic. So, if you’ve got plans that involve these roads, make sure to plan ahead!
With these closures in place, it’s a good time to remember about the city’s expanding public transport. Soon, with the launch of Tram Line 4 in Abu Dhabi, there could be even less need to rely on your car to get around. Stay tuned for more updates, it looks like the city’s traffic might get a little easier to navigate in the near future!
