The holiday season is almost here, and there’s no better way to get into the spirit than by attending one of Dubai’s beautiful Christmas tree-lighting ceremonies. Whether you’re enjoying time with family or catching up with friends, these free events are the perfect way to start the festivities.
Here are four of the most festive celebrations happening around the city.
Hillhouse Brasserie and The Duck Hook on November 27 (Thursday)
Holiday cheer is starting next week! Head over to Dubai Hills Golf Club where Hillhouse Brasserie and The Duck Hook are teaming up to light a 6-metre tall tree on the lawn. It’s a great way to enjoy the season’s first tree lighting, sip on a mulled grape or hot chocolate, and listen to live carol performances from a local choir. The lights are on at 7:30 PM!
Garden on 8 on November 28 (Friday)
The festive season continues on Friday at Media One Hotel with the switch-on of the tree at Garden on 8. Expect a lively evening full of sing-along carols, sparkling fairy lights, and plenty of festive fun. It’s a perfect spot for friends and families to enjoy some holiday magic together.
Al Habtoor Polo Resort on December 4 (Thursday)
For a more family-friendly experience, Al Habtoor Polo Resort offers a wonderful tree-lighting event at the Equestrian Lounge. Enjoy carols from the Nord Anglia School choir, let the kids decorate gingerbread, and take pictures with Santa. Afterward, gather at the Horse and Hound for a Christmas-themed quiz that the whole family can enjoy.
The Bolt Hole on December 4 (Thursday)
For a warm and welcoming atmosphere, join the tree-lighting ceremony at The Bolt Hole in Villa Nova, Wadi Al Safa. From 6 PM, enjoy mulled grape, hot chocolate, and marshmallows, while carol singers fill the air with festive cheer. And yes, even your furry friends are welcome to join in the fun with a special festive puppaccino.
Another great way to keep the holiday spirit alive is Christmas Cracker concert in Dubai. This event will bring your favourite festive songs to life, performed by a live orchestra.
Each of these events is a fantastic way to enjoy time with family or catch up with friends. And if you’re looking to make the experience even more magical, check out where to meet Santa in Dubai.
