Looking for your next European escape? You’re in luck because Wizz Air is expanding its network with new routes from Abu Dhabi (AUH) this November. After resuming operations from the UAE capital in October, the airline is already adding fresh destinations to its schedule.
The first stop is Larnaca, Cyprus (LCA), with flights taking off from November 15. Here are the details if you’re planning an escape to the Mediterranean Sea:
- Schedule: four weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
- AUH to LCA departs at 6:45 PM, arrives at 9:30 PM (local time)
- LCA to AUH departs at 12:25 PM, arrives at 6:10 PM (local time)

Just two days later, on November 17, Wizz Air will also resume flights to Sofia, Bulgaria (SOF). The service had been paused for a short time, but it’s now back on the schedule with three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday):
- AUH to SOF departs at 9:25 PM, arrives at 1:10 AM (local time)
- SOF to AUH departs at 1:45 PM, arrives at 8:50 PM (local time)
With these new destinations, Wizz Air is giving travellers from Abu Dhabi even more affordable ways to explore the European continent. The airline has only recently returned to service in the UAE capital, and more routes and schedules are expected to follow soon. Stay tuned for updates on what’s next!
