If you drive regularly in Dubai, you’ve probably noticed that parking fees can vary depending on where you park. Recently, the city updated its parking tariffs, especially in high-traffic areas, to encourage quicker turnover of spaces.

Here’s what you can expect to pay in busier neighborhoods:

  • AED 2 for 30 minutes
  • AED 4 per hour
  • AED 24 for a 6-hour stay
  • AED 36 for a 24-hour stay

Monthly parking subscriptions are also available, with fees varying depending on the area. They start at AED 300 in less busy areas like Dubai Sports City, and annual passes can reach up to AED 4,040 in high-demand areas like Jumeirah Village Triangle.

The updated rates apply across 17 locations in Dubai, including:

  • Al Sufouh 2 (Zone F)
  • Dubai Studio City (675T)
  • Dubai Outsource City (812T)
  • Dubai International Academic City (Zone F)

As for good news, free parking is still available in some zones on Sundays and public holidays. Plus, worshippers can continue to park for free during prayer times near mosques.

In the past few months, new zones with paid parking appeared in the city. If you missed these changes, here’s everything to know about 4 new paid parking zones introduced in November and December 2025, including their locations, hourly rates, and monthly subscriptions.
