After the successful launch this spring, Downtown Design Riyadh will return for its second edition next February, promising even more excitement and inspiration. The Middle East’s leading fair for high-quality and contemporary design will take place from February 3 to 6, 2026, at JAX District.

While the full lineup for the 2026 edition hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s sure to be another incredible showcase of international and local talent. The first edition included big names like Saint Louis, Visionnaire, Scarlet Splendour, Natuzzi, and Huda Lighting, as well as some incredible Saudi designers.

Highlights from the 2025 edition included Strata, an outdoor pavilion made from Saudi sand, and a glowing pop-up by experimental designers Bompas & Parr, complete with Bauhaus-inspired interiors by Laeta.

Beyond the exhibitions, the Forum program featured discussions on topics like collectible design, cultural preservation through design, and the evolving architecture landscape in Saudi Arabia. Attendees had the chance to explore everything from fine craftsmanship to the latest trends in design, all under one roof.

Downtown Design Riyadh follows in the footsteps of its Middle Eastern counterpart, which has been a key event in Dubai’s design scene for over a decade. Its expansion into Saudi Arabia speaks volumes about the growing demand for high-quality design and craftsmanship in the Kingdom.

And while you’re in the JAX District, don’t miss out on another exciting cultural event coming soon — Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale 2026. With a rich and diverse programme, it will showcase stunning art and creative expression from around the world. If you’re into design and culture, this is an event you definitely want to explore!
