Alongside the launch of Scorpion Club, Dubai Festival Plaza is expanding its retail mix. New arrivals include:

The mall already houses the second IKEA store in Dubai (the first being at Dubai Festival City Mall), making it a convenient destination for both entertainment and home essentials for those living in or visiting Dubai South.

Dubai South is in the spotlight as Al Maktoum International Airport undergoes a massive expansion project to become the largest airport by capacity in the world. The district is positioned to grow significantly in the coming years, with planned infrastructure to support both aviation and residential development.
Adding to the district’s transformation, South Square — a new luxury residential project near Al Maktoum Airport — will bring 550 apartments to the area. The development is scheduled for completion in 2028, further contributing to Dubai South’s rise as a key hub for living, working, and recreation.
