Dubai Mall is about to get even bigger! One of the world’s largest shopping malls is adding a brand-new section, opening at the start of Ramadan. The expansion will bring 65 new stores and dining options to a space near the Dubai Mall Ice Rink and Level Shoes. Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar, shared the news on social media on February 13.

While we don’t yet know exactly which brands will be part of this new section, the online mall map shows a large area marked “opening soon” on the ground floor near Level Shoes. The new space will be located between Level Shoes and Blancpain, the Swiss watch brand.

This latest addition is separate from the major AED 1.5 billion expansion announced last year, which will introduce 240 more luxury shops and restaurants. Dubai Mall already houses over 1,200 stores, including big names like Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s, plus more than 200 places to eat. And as you can notice on the map, it’s about to become even bigger!

Earlier this year, the mall set a new visitor record, welcoming over 111 million people in 2024 — beating its previous high of 105 million in 2023.
