If you regularly drive to Dubai Mall, there’s an important update you’ll want to know. As part of the mall’s major expansion project, the Grand Parking facility will temporarily close starting June. Located on the Financial Street side, Grand Parking is the smallest of the mall’s four car parks, offering 694 parking slots.
The closure is linked to preparations for the launch of New Grand Drive, set to open in August. During this period, Fashion Parking, Cinema Parking, and Zabeel Parking will continue operating as usual, so you’ll still have multiple options when visiting the world’s busiest shopping destination.

In addition to the car park closure, several internal roads and access points have been redirected. If you’re used to using the Lower or Upper Financial Exit Ramps, you’ll need to follow the new detour routes, with traffic now being diverted via Grand Drive and Cinema P3.
Visitors who use Grand Drive Valet services should also take note of the changes and allow extra time for parking and navigation. Clear signage has been put in place throughout the site to help guide mall-goers to alternative routes and facilities.

This update follows last year’s introduction of paid parking at Dubai Mall, which uses a ticketless system based on vehicle plate recognition, with fees automatically deducted from Salik accounts.
As construction progresses, visitors are advised to plan ahead, especially during weekends and peak hours, to avoid delays and confusion.
