Dubai has announced that four public beaches will be reserved exclusively for families during the Eid Al Fitr 2025 holiday. This initiative by Dubai Municipality aims to control crowd levels, as beaches see a surge of visitors during festive periods, and to ensure a more relaxed and secure environment for families.
To maintain order and safety, 126 trained professionals will be stationed across these beaches to handle security and rescue operations. A separate team of ten supervisors will oversee crowd management, keep traffic flowing in beach parking areas, and ensure smooth operations at these sites.
Dubai beaches with family-entry only during Eid Al Fitr are:
- Jumeirah 2
- Jumeirah 3
- Umm Suqeim 1
- Umm Suqeim 2
Authorities had already been preparing for an increased number of beach visitors during Eid, and this measure is part of their broader plan to improve the overall experience for residents and tourists.
In addition, Dubai Metro will operate with extended hours during the Eid holiday to accommodate more travelers. Additionally, public parking will be free on select days, making it easier for residents and visitors to get around.
