If you love Turkish cuisine, here’s some great news! Etçi Umut, a popular steakhouse from Türkiye, is opening in Dubai! The restaurant will welcome diners on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at DAMAC Maison Akyon City, a high-rise on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Originally from Ankara, Türkiye, Etçi Umut has built a strong reputation for its meat-focused menu. The name itself — Etçi Umut — translates to “Meaty Hope.” The brand has already expanded abroad, and now it’s making its mark in Dubai.

While the full Dubai menu hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s expected to feature many of the signature dishes found in its other locations. That means plenty of grilled meats, steaks, and barbecue specialties. Some of the standout items from the existing menu include:
- Beef Ribs
- Kasap Burger, a butcher-style burger made with premium beef
- New York Steak cooked to your liking
- Tomahawk Steak, a show-stopping, bone-in steak for sharing
