Popular Italian restaurant Fi’lia is branching out from Dubai to open two exciting new locations — Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Known for its comforting Italian-Mediterranean dishes, Fi’lia is all set to bring its blend of tradition and modernity to more diners in the region.
In Abu Dhabi, Fi’lia will open at the upcoming Mondrian Abu Dhabi, a luxury hotel with 300 rooms that’s expected to launch later this year. This chic venue will serve as the perfect spot to enjoy Fi’lia’s handmade pastas, fresh ingredients, and warm ambiance.
Over in Saudi Arabia, Fi’lia will debut at the SLS Red Sea, located within the grand Red Sea Project. This initiative is transforming Saudi Arabia’s western coastline into a hotspot for luxury tourism, and Fi’lia’s menu of timeless Italian favorites will make it a must-visit dining destination by the water.
What sets Fi’lia apart is its unique story. It’s the first female-led restaurant in the region and a proud recipient of the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand award. The name “Fi’lia,” which means “daughter” in Italian, reflects its roots in family traditions. The menu celebrates recipes passed down through generations of women, now reimagined with a modern touch.
Guests can look forward to signature dishes like Beef Tartare, creamy Bresaola e Burrata, fresh seafood plates like Cozze e Vongole, and indulgent Ravioli Quattro Formaggi. And don’t leave without trying the Fi’liamisu, a dessert that’s won over countless diners.
