If a visit to Global Village was on your Dubai plans, you might want to hold off for a while. One of the city’s best-known outdoor attractions has temporarily closed and will remain shut until further notice.
Global Village announced the update, saying the destination is closed in line with official guidance. For now, there is no confirmed reopening date. The park will share any updates about reopening through its official social media channels.
It’s also not the only outdoor destination in Dubai affected by the same guidance. Other popular spots, including Dubai Parks and Resorts and Ain Dubai, have also announced temporary closures this March.
Global Village becomes an especially popular destination for families during Ramadan, with its special live performances and a majlis-style tent.
