Both options eliminate the need to visit any offices or complete lengthy paperwork.
Option 1: Register While in the Hospital
- Hospitals record the newborn’s name and take a photograph
- The process is automatically triggered via Mabrouk Ma Yaqak package in coordination with ICP’s smart system
- Parents receive all essential documents, including the newborn’s passport, birth certificate, and UAE ID card

Option 2: Register Online via UAEICP App or Website
- Parents can log into their family profile on UAEICP smart app or website
- Select “Add Newborn” and enter the required details, then upload the birth certificate
- After verifying the information, parents can submit the application free of charge
- They can also request the newborn’s passport and first-time UAE ID card directly through the platform
