The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments made the announcement on Wednesday, September 3, informing Emirati citizens interested in performing the pilgrimage that they can now submit their applications online. Registration for Hajj 2025 will open on September 24.

Applications should be submitted via the authority’s official website or mobile app. Authorities encouraged Emirati citizens who have never performed Hajj to apply during this period to ensure fairness and streamline the application process for first-time pilgrims.

The registration process will remain open until October 9. This move is part of ongoing efforts to improve the overall experience for pilgrims and make the procedures as simple as possible.

Technology continues to shape services for pilgrims. Saudi Arabia has recently launched the Nusuk Umrah service, an online platform that simplifies the Umrah visa application and pilgrimage booking process for Muslims outside the Kingdom.
