The upcoming event will mark the 25th edition of the region’s longest-running international road race and will be held under the patronage of the Dubai Sports Council.
To mark this silver jubilee, the organisers are preparing a full programme that includes not only the standard marathon distance of 42.195 kilometres, but also a 10 km road race and a 4 km fun run. As usual, the event welcomes both elite athletes and participants of all ages and experience levels.

Beyond the sporting aspect, the event plays a notable role in promoting Dubai as a destination for international sports tourism. It generates considerable economic activity, particularly in hospitality and related sectors during race week.
Although the race itself is still months away, those planning to take part in Dubai Marathon 2026 may want to register early. Capacity is limited, and previous editions have seen high demand across all race categories.
