Ramadan in Dubai always feels special: from the Iftars with family to late-night outings. If you want to go a little deeper this year, Season of Wulfa gives you that chance. Through multiple initiatives and events during Ramadan 2026, it invites you to connect, give back and experience the season in a more meaningful way.
Across the city, you’ll find more than 50 initiatives and events during Ramadan 2026, all designed to bring people together. If you’re wondering where to start, here are some of the programmes worth checking out.
Ayal Al Freej: Ramadan Fun for Kids until March 20
It’s about helping children feel connected to Ramadan in a meaningful way. Kids can pick up a Ramadan Passport at more than 300 mosques across the city. As they pray, they collect stamps and get surprises and prizes along the way.

You’ll also be glad to know that parking at Dubai mosques will remain free throughout Ramadan 2026.
A Community Step Challenge with STEPPI
Want to give back just by walking? You can. The fourth edition of Step of Life invites you to join a friendly neighbourhood step challenge on the STEPPI app. Until March 20, every step you log contributes to charitable donations. You track your daily steps and add them to your community’s total.
There’s also a community walk happening on March 7.
Following Zayed’s Path
Inspired by the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this humanitarian initiative focuses on generosity, compassion and unity. If you want to take part, head to Ibrahim Al Khalil Mosque in Karama on March 7 or visit Quranic Park on March 8.

If you’re planning a late evening stroll or a quiet night out in nature, check out Dubai park and landmark working hours during Ramadan 2026.
Swalf Al Meyales: Ramadan Talks
If you value community storytelling, this one’s worth your time. Elderly residents share stories from their careers and life journeys, opening the door for younger people to ask questions and learn. Sessions take place in different majlis locations around Dubai from February 26 to March 19.
There’s also Hmayel Al Khair, a women-only series running from February 22 to March 3 at majlis venues including Al Khawaneej, Nad Al Sheba, Al Barsha, Hatta, Umm Suqeim, Al Lisaili, Al Warqaa and Al Awir.
Ramadan Nights
Ramadan Nights programming is filled with artistic performances and creative workshops. Expect oud music, puppet theatre, shadow plays and interactive sessions that work for both adults and kids.
Locations:
- Al Safa Art & Design Library
- Al Jalila Cultural Center

Ramadan Majlis Series at the Museum of the Future
The Museum of the Future is hosting its Ramadan Majlis Series again this year, with two sessions focused on Islamic jewellery and art. One of the talks, held in collaboration with L’ECOLE School of Jewelry Arts on February 28, explores the origins of Islamic jewellery and how it evolved into modern design.
Limited-edition Ramadan Boxes at Patchi
Students across Dubai were invited to design chocolate packaging inspired by Hag Al Laila, Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. Now you can actually buy the winning designs. Exclusive Ramadan boxes designed by Kristen Gabriella Valles from Jumeirah College will be available at Patchi stores across the city.
Supporting Emirati Entrepreneurs at Hewi Nad Al Sheba
Ferjan Dubai is spotlighting young Emirati entrepreneurs at Hewi Nad Al Sheba, a new traditional community space recently opened in Dubai. It’s all about empowering local talent and celebrating neighbourhood businesses.
