A Swedish DJ and producer with a growing global profile, Michael ‘Manse’ Hansen got his big break in 2013 as Hardwell signed him to his revered Revealed Recordings label, with his remix of ‘Escape’ leading to further production work remixing for Dash Berlin, Nicky Romero and label boss Hardwell. In 2016 he was given the chance to rerub Armin Van Buuren’s huge track ‘Freefall.’
His big break was no coincidence, however, as the Stockholm based DJ had been honing his skills for over 7 years in his home studio, perfecting his beats and melody until he was ready to burst onto the scene. Alongside releases for some pivotal labels, Manse has been taking his music to clubs and gigs across the world, while he’s also started his Stasius project, composing music for film scores.
In 2014, he made his Ibiza debut as he played at Revealed’s party at Ushuaia, dropping a peak-time mix of mashups, and his own captivating, high energy melodic house and electro. With support from BBC Radio 1 legend Pete Tong who’s premiered several tracks on his Essential Mix show, further Ibiza gigs and festival dates at Tomorrowland, he’s continued to push forward in the dance music scene, ably capitalizing on the early promise that Harwell spotted at the start of his career.
